"We're really excited to have you join us out here. Glad to hear the king sized bed did the trick. :) BTW, It looks like you have an issue with the smarty template for your RSS feed. I tried to subscribe, but no dice." - Josh Fraser

"I like it. I've always argued that email addresses should be the primary keys of the web. The frustrating thing with Facebook Connect is that you can't do an email to facebook ID lookup without authenticating the user. This is annoying when you want to use multiple sources of social graph data outside of Facebook. I could see OpenID via email taking off pretty quickly if we could get it supported by the major email providers. I also love that it completely gets rid of the annoying "verify your email address" step from the on-boarding process." - Josh Fraser

"The problem is that it's impossible to be reach maximum productivity as a developer without being in the "code head" zone. Maybe the best thing you can do is surround yourself with people who understand and are okay waiting for the glazed look to leave your eyes so you can rejoin the rest of the world again." - Josh Fraser

"You can save yourself from doing a lot of unnecessary parsing by looking at the top level domain and using the platforms default URL structure to get to their comment RSS feeds. I know this works for blogger/blogspot, wordpress.com and typepad. I hate parsing too!" - Josh Fraser

"Thanks for the shout out for EventVue. One clarification -- we don't even have to poll gnip to ask for new tweets, they actually POST the updates to us! As a developer, this is exactly what I want. None of our servers are wasting time with continual polling. We tried that before gnip came along and it was a miserable experience. Without gnip EventVue's twitter aggregation feature would be almost impossible for us to scale. I'd love to share that story. Look for a post on that soon." - Josh Fraser

"Great video. I love the idea of leadership as empowering other people to succeed. I can't think of a better illustration of that than a conductor leading an orchestra -- and making incredible music without playing a note." - Josh Fraser

"Sure, I don't see why 'similar people with similar interests' can't be based around gender. But I also understand that guys and girls are different. Guys don't have "girls night" where we sit around and paint our toenails, eat chocolate and watch The Notebook. We don't have our own BlogHim conference either, and i doubt we ever will. And that's okay. However, what really gets me excited is how we can connect VC's with entrepreneurs.... people needing jobs with those who are hiring... connecting people with problems to people with solutions." - Josh Fraser

"I think the main reason BlogHer is so different is that it's not just a conference... it's a community. BlogHer have done a phenomenal job of getting their attendees to interact with each other throughout the year. Conferences are about bringing together similar people with similar interests. Why don't more conferences copy BlogHer by making it possible for their attendees to connect all year long instead of just one day a year?" - Josh Fraser

To appreciate a lot of things in life, you have to be familiar with them. I have a really hard time getting excited about groundbreaking advances in financial planning practices, mostly because I know very little about it. I can't really make valuable contributions to an emphatic discussion on search engine optimization (aka becoming the first page listed in a google search for a given topic - which, thanks to Josh, this website is) or the latest and greatest FTP software. It's not that I don't care, it's just that I don't know anything about it. - Josh Fraser

"My favorite coffee shop in Boulder was Cafe Play but they went out of business... ya know, kinda like most startups. I like Trident, but you better have a good laptop battery. Finding an outlet there is a tweetable accomplishment for sure." - Josh Fraser
