Rochelle, you're the one who brought it downstairs last night for some reason.
- Akiva Moskovitz
Looking around, I think I'm gonna have to risk a Wal-Mart run for more gift bags. We'll up the ante by doing it on the bicycle. In the rain. That's Christmas!
- Chris Baskind
Because I am alpha male, I wrapped 4 prior to today. You may kiss the ring.
- Bruce Lewis
from fftogo
I got you beat on the stereotyping - I have to go out today and buy most of those things that will be wrapped. Snowstorm kinda socked it to me.
- jcunwired
Wait....Presents? For Audrey's first Christmas?
- Matthew DeVries
Isn't that why couples have children - to play with their holiday toys?
- jcunwired
.... *double checks for boobs* Yep, still got them.... *hides wrapping paper and tape sitting beside her*
- Alix Whitmire
OK, there's a break in the weather, and into the hell which is Wal-Mart I go. Wish me luck, fellow procrastinators. This could be my final transmission. ;-)
- Chris Baskind
"Yes, you now have uncovered me. Some reasons may be that with time, you finally realized where I kept hidden, as I had to work with some other fellas like you on that one. As you may or may not know, the contract on that one last only for a year. So better be packing up for your greatest adventures." -24 (hehehe <O,
- ElijahBailey-Zu of FF <0,
Ah, you get double presents! no fair! :) Happy Birthday!

Meet my son, Avynn (http://friendfeed.com/avynn). A lotta-bit of Tad, a little bit of "Eric has an emotion", a little bit of non-sequitur, a little bit of crazy teen... Now you get to see even more what I have to deal with at home! :D How I stay sane is a mystery.
He's holding his own on here. I'm impressed! Love the father/son interaction. Your house must be a mad house! But a fun-loving mad house.
- Trish Haley
Looking back on another year, my second Xmas with the Double Fs, I have come to appreciate the power and complete kickassedness of a lot of you here. For me, putting aside one's personal spiritual persuasions, Xmas is about taking stock of the ones you know and the ones you hold dear. This year has been hard for a lot of us. Some of us have battle personal tragedy. Some of us have battled financial stresses. Some of us have battled illness or disease... some continue that battle and you are in our thoughts. The year kicked off in spectacular fashion with the birth of Audrey Moskovitz. I have enjoyed watching her grow and I have also enjoyed watching the growth of Akiva and Rochelle as they experience some of the things those of us with kids have experienced. I have forged strong friendships. I have built on existing ones. I have lost some as well. The fact that I have a wonderful friend in Mr Josh Haley is a true blessing and a gift that lasts longer than one day. He truly is the Yang...

Can't wait to see your Christmas pix, Johnny! Hope y'all have a wonderful day!
- Laura wishes you peace.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Johnny! :-D
- Live4Emma (L4S)
Great post Johnny! Here's wishing all the same back to you, and that Bruce the Koala is all shagged out and allows you some peace and quiet during the hols :)
- Patrick Jordan
Jeremy, perhaps there's a misunderstanding. As a rule, FriendFeeders celebrate Festivus - maybe someone mistook this thread for the Airing of the Grievences ceremony. In any event, I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it!
- John Craft
That looks lovely. I love lemon cake. <3
- Yolanda
From what I can see from google translate, it was something naughty about the icing. :)
- metalerik
Oh, whatever. The icing is powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice.
- Derrick

I'm hoping it was all in good fun. Anyway, yummers dude.
- metalerik
I happen to know personally that D's lemon pound cake is the business. Love, The Drunken Sous Chef. (Be safe, have fun, stay up and call me if you need me. I'll be in the broom closet hiding under a dog blanket)

I would feel guilty messing up such neatly arranged food. Maybe if I could coordinate with some other folks so food could be removed in a symmetrical, harmonious, synchronized manner.

Robert had a sweet, romantic movie moment Anna. We were walking the babies this Christmas Eve when the lights in the entire neighborhood went out. It was about 11:30pm. We were still walking at midnight. The lights were still out when, literally, the very moment we kissed each other Merry Christmas, the lights in the neighborhood came on,...
I just like to use the words raw. Seems more honest. If I taught my sisters how to spell them in chalk on the sidewalk when I was 10, it's probably okay on friendfeed.
- Cristo
I guess, but I don't want to corrupt Avynn's youth, also I think he's probably the youngest user of FF who doesn't have a parent ghosting the account.
- Jimminy Fuller
I'm gonna guess Avynn knows how to spell any word you are afraid to type.
- Cristo
Pinochio was a good boy, too, and he was lovingly made out of wood by the woodcarver. Therefore, Avynn must have been lovingly crafted from top of the line hardware and painstakingly coded, to be a good boy. This makes him the most developed Android, and AI system ever.
- Jimminy Fuller
My command is this: Empty one of the large trash cans out into the lawn. Fill it with water and ice and dump it on your parents. :) They will like it, just like coaches in the NFL do.
- Cristo
It's serious business - people make bucket reservations.
- Mona Nomura
Is grilled KFC on the menu this year?
- Charles Alden
Grilled KFC is like Star Wars episodes 1, 2, and 3. NONEXISTENT. ;)
- Mona Nomura
I wonder if you could get a bowl of rice with a pot pie. I combine those anyway
- Rodfather
That surprises me and doesn't surprise me.
- Spidra Webster
They jack up the prices. And people actually pay, like, 50 bucks a flippin' bucket!! Christmas cakes are also out of control expensive. They need to be reserved MONTHS in advance and avg. $100ish.
- Mona Nomura
It's a Jewish tradition to eat Chinese food for Christmas dinner. I feel like we should combine these traditions somehow....
- Darren
I fucking LOVE my netbook. Srsly. These things should be standard issue. I'm FFing while wrapping presents and watching all the Christmas stuff I've TiVo'ed for the past three weeks. And LOOK! It even has a webcam!
Sweet, Christmas Story wrapping paper?? That would've gone great with my Christmas Story gift tags.
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
from fftogo
Yup! I also have Christmas Story gift bags and gift tags. Got 'em all at Wal-Mart last year. :D I use the stuff sparingly so I can make it last for as many Christmases as possible!
- tinypants - Hagitha of FF
You don't have the leg lamp do you? I saw it for sale at our Rite Aid. LOL
- Ken
Netbook - which brand / model? I am looking into buying one, maybe!
- Susan Beebe
Aww they have the lamp at Rite Aid? My friend got one at a calendar stand at the mall. They had 3D leg lamp puzzles at B&N, but no lamps
- Penguin It's Cold Outside
from fftogo
If you shop at Amazon.com they have a few varieties I see, although most here just look like lamps: http://www.amazon.com/s...
- Ken
We actually bought the full-size lamp for my dad for his upcoming retirement. It was shipped to us in a wooden "FRAGILE" crate. Well worth the price we paid. I'm guessing the one at Rite Aid is probably a much less expensive version.
- tinypants - Hagitha of FF
@Susan: It's an Asus Eee PC...uh model 1005HAB-RBLK001S. Has Win7 and a 250gb HD. :) I'm loving this much more than I my regular laptop and now I'm feeling kind of guilty. But there's something to be said about being tiny and extremely easy to carry around. Maybe if I used my lappy and netty side-by-side for a bit... :D
