Bam! I've made new T-shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/libra... Do the fonts look OK? I'm thinking the "Shovers & Makers" needs to be larger. - joshua m. neff
YES! I agree the Shovers & Makers need to be bigger too. - Nikki D. ~ eagledawg
let me know when you've made them bigger so I can order mine! - Bobbi Newman

See, I joked that the latest bit of music he put together needed more cowbell, & he said, "No, wait for it," and then this massive bit of cowbell started up, like sprinkles on a cupcake! - joshua m. neff

“Where are LSW members located? As I think about my future travels, I would like to meet up with LSW members. Alas, I look at the wiki (and Frappr map) and see that I can't really tell where people are. Not everyone has done the Frappr map. Can we get people to do the map or something?”
23 hours ago - Link
I also looked at LinkedIn, but I don't think I can search just the LSW members. Maybe you know of a way of finding LSW members in specific locations? Or maybe we can create a index by location? (Or get people to do the Frappr map?) - Jill Hurst-Wahl
okie dokie, I'm on both maps now - martha ☮
Courtney, I don't think all LSW members have placed themselves on the map. (I, of course, maybe wrong.) - Jill Hurst-Wahl
There is pretty much nothing that *all* LSW people have done. Which is kinda cool. I'm in Colorado Springs. Might I see you at ALA Midwinter in Denver? - Steve Lawson
On the map. Two of us within a couple of miles, right inside of DC. - Julian
I know of at least four more in DC, with a few nearby in Maryland. We could have a regional chapter! Or at least a pub night. Yeah, I think I like the pub night idea. - jönαthaη
I am likely not anywhere near anywhere you will be going, but I may try to make it down to Denver around Midwinter, if finances, weather, and timing allow. - laura x
Sydney Australia. Come on over - Fiona Bradley
Added myself to the map, plus if any LSW people want to share on Dopplr I'm there as well (usually travel once a quarter for work): http://www.dopplr.com/travelle.... You can do a lot of customization to protect your privacy and that of your friends. - Steven Kaye
I'm having a hard time believing I'm the only one in Seattle - Nikki D. ~ eagledawg
Doubt any of you are coming to Scotland, but am going to Denver so would be keen to meet up. - Jaclyn
Fremantle, Western Australia. I would be most isolated, but there are another couple of LSWers in this town too. - Kathryn Greenhill
...and already on both maps. Another in Perth. Western Australia. - suelibrarian
In the library town of Champaign-Urbana, I'm the only LiSieWig? That can't be. - librarienne
Would it be worth sending a message to the group in LinkedIn asking people to "pin" themselves? - Jill Hurst-Wahl
I'll be honest, I don't really pay much attention to LinkedIn beyond approving people for membership. But that's just me. If you think it would be worth it, go for it, Jill. - joshua m. neff
I think that would be great Jill. - Jill, Superhero Librarian
I don't pay much attention to LinkedIn, either, and I'm not on the map, but I am in Nashville, TN. - RachelW
I AM SHOCKED -- that Steve Lawson is coming to ALA Midwinter. - jokrausdu
Joe, I'm just coming to hang out. Not registering or anything. Keep your pants on. ;) - Steve Lawson
Added myself to both maps, thanks! - Ruth Kneale
on both maps - bob frasier
Okay...I've posted something in LinkedIn. Let's see if it helps. BTW Thanks to everyone who has added themselves to the maps! (I wasn't actually on the Google Map until today, so I was also part of the problem.) - Jill Hurst-Wahl
I'm having trouble pinning myself in Philadelphia. - Jill O'Neill
I'm in too. - Jαsοn Puckett
I have (I think) added myself to these and also updated dopplr thingy. - Amy Kearns

Remember kids - pie is healthy for breakfast. It's like toast with jam. A lot of jam. - Sparky
Pie is good for breakfast. No worse than a danish. - Jill, Superhero Librarian
i think pumpkin pie makes a terrific breakfast, more so than any other pie - Melissa Maskevich
Health benefits of pumpkin: Pumpkin meat is very high in carotenoids. They're what give pumpkins their orange color—but that's the least of their benefits. Carotenoids are really good at neutralizing free radicals, nasty molecules that can attack cell membranes and leave the cells vulnerable to damage. Pumpkins are also high in lutein and zeaxanthin, which scavenge free radicals in the lens of the eye. Therefore, they may help prevent the formation of cataracts and reduce the risk of macular degeneration, a serious eye problem than usually results in blindness. Besides carotenoids, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which are all antioxidants, pumpkins have a lot of common nutrients, like iron, zinc, and fiber. Iron, of course, is needed by red blood cells. Zinc deficiency may be related to osteoporosis of the hip and spine in older men. And fiber is important for bowel health. - Squirrel Girl
Apparently, pumpkin pie is the BEST kind of breakfast you can give your body. - Squirrel Girl
Not for me, it isn't. Where's my slice? - joshua m. neff

“Hi again good LSW people: to anybody using del.icio.us bookmarks for library, how do you manage / update your bookmarks? One person does it? Many people? Any problems? Thank you!”
Sunday at 9:33 am - Link
We have two accounts, one mainly for youth services staff (http://delicious.com/jclyslink...) & one to share w/ students & parents (http://delicious.com/jocohomew...). Logins & passwords are shared w/ staff. We also put widgets on our web pages (http://www.jocolibrary.org/hom... & http://www.jocolibrary.org/tea...). - joshua m. neff
The only problem is that staff don't have admin rights to work PCs & can't use Firefox, so it's not as easy as it could be for staff to add bookmarks. & because staff can't customize their browsers, it discourages them somewhat from playing with delicious & other things. - joshua m. neff
I think my colleagues might be less keen than me on del.icio.us - I do keep hold of some information that's relevant, in addition to my own stuff, and when anyone asks me if I "remember that site that.... " then I can often find it (if it's there!). Would be useful to be able to "post to" a particular account rather than having to log out and log in again. - Jo Brodie
Joshua - you can't use Firefox at all? Wow. Man, if I was a PhD student I would *love* to go around the country studying library staff work-flow. Some very eye-opening information there, me thinks. - librarienne
Please do it, Librarienne. The WTFery around computers in librarianship is astonishing. - Dorothea Salo
As Josh has pointed out, the delicious widgets let our librarians add fresh content without having to have him add things by hand :) that's a plus! But yes, not having Firefox puts us at a distinct efficiency disadvantage. - edh
All of my POW's branches have delicious accounts and the staff at the reference desk are responsible for bookmarking links and sharing them with the network. - ♫baldgeekinmd♫
