I think McCain's plan goes a long ways to fixing the system. People need insurance, not companies.. Why should my employer be making all of the decisions for me? I should be able to buy as much, or as little insurance as I feel is necessary.
I think most of what is wrong with our markets is layers and layers of middlemen causing Dilbert-like irrationality to seep into the system. - Josh Reighley
The line "Mr. Obama will, with a flick of his fingers, show them how to create more jobs with less money." is pretty dead on.. Soon, unless the electorate wakes up, we will get to see if Obama, the annointed one can feed the 5000. I am betting "no" - Josh Reighley
Josh, I come from somewhat different politics and yet find myself in agreement with you. Japan tried to stave off capitalism's pain in the early 90s and still has never really recovered. The only way out of this mess is through it. It's going to hurt, more than most realize, but debt junkie America is like any other junkie: get clean or die. - Dan Kearns
I kinda liken these economic policies to a dam. It will only hold so much water before the water overruns and destroys it. We can keep building bigger and bigger dams, but eventually it is going to escape and wreak a lot of havoc. The more "wrath" we have stored up the worse it is going to be when the inevatble colapse comes. - Josh Reighley
This pretty much sums up how I feel about this 'crisis' Goverment regulation is the problem, not the answer. If the government gets out of the way, the problem will take care of itself in months. So long as they keep meddling, the market will hold it's breath and things will keep going downhill - Josh Reighley
Pretty hard core trap Obama fell into on this one... It is important to know your opponent. - Josh Reighley
I didn't like the ad because I thought it was pointless and dumb not because I think it is offensive in any way. This is nothing but more manufactured outrage. - Jess

I don't know that anyone is outraged... It is just a really stupid move by the obama camp. Stupid ad, and a pretty big downside of re-emphazing the fact that John McCain has some serious disabilities from being tortured in service to his country. They should have done their homework -- and obviously they didn't. - Josh Reighley
I kinda had the same feeling. This trial was nasty stuff, but should we look away from suffering? "Be Angry, But do not sin" - We can't be compassionate if we refuse to absorb anything negative. - Josh Reighley
I agree. It is hard to look at this stuff but at the same time we it won't go away just because we ignore it. - Jess
On another note, I thought Meghann did a fantastic job twittering the trial. - Jess
I used to be a vermicomposter. My neighbors thought I was nuts when I would harvest it. Probably should try again now that I have kids. - Josh Reighley
I am feeling better about poo-pooing the Todd Bentley festival here in Spokane this weekend. When Assembly of God is speaking out with concern. I can dismiss my fear of just being pentecostalphobic. (Is that a word?) - Josh Reighley
Wow. Thought it was a joke when I first saw. Talk about silly. Great for 13-year-olds maybe. How large a voting demographic is that...? - Team Frosick
Yah, when I drive through the liberal quarter of Spokane, it is a bit scary. Big old posters of Obama's mug. Kinda like Mau or Sadam or the like. Now he gets his own gesture? Ughh... - Josh Reighley
I think the cultish behavior of his most ardent supporters is likely to backfire as folks who are a bit more objective see it more clearly. The McCain campaign is certainly going out of it's way to point the behavior out with it's current ads. - Team Frosick
Such compassion from a killer.. Doesn't want to traumatize anyone with the sadistic video he made.. ....Shudder.... What a creepy guy. - Josh Reighley
I don't know how anything could bias a jury more than watching someone who admits to these crimes sit in front of them and calmly provide his own defense. - Jess
I know I have already raved about this before, but it is good to see these all linked in one place. The sermons "The Doctrine of the Holy Spirit in Luke and Acts" and "On Missional Movements" are must listen if you ask me. I haven't heard the rest yet. - Josh Reighley
