Seesmic, Friendfeed and Twitter next to each other in a test version of Twhirl. Adding tons of Friendfeed experience improvements in there, Marco rocks.
Is twitter's api actually back up at 50 req/hr?
- Shawn Farner
The old Twhirl works for me in linux for me, it just won't remember my password.

from twhirl
Yes Marco does. Twhirl is becoming my info hub. And if Twitter dies, who cares I'm sure Pownce, Jaiku or whatever could be swapped in

Un plugin pour défragmenter l'historique de Firefox. Même si on réduit le nombre de jours archivables (40 pour moi), ce n'est souvent pas suffisant. Who said "bloat" ? Autre constat en nettoyant l'historique : pas moins de 1500 items sur les pages twitter - soupir - ctrl A - delete

"MANNED CLOUD Cruise Airship, Paris, France Living in the sky, watching the Earth from above. Rediscovering the marvel of traveling, experiencing contemplation. Exploring the world without trace Manned Cloud is an alternative project around leisure and travelling in all its form, economic and experimental, still with the idea of lightness, human experience and life scenarios as the guiding principles. The spiral of Archimedes is the driving force of this airship in the form of a whale that glides through the air."

"Since this behemoth gets its lift from helium, there's not much danger of a fiery hydrogen explosion like that ill-fated Hindenburg, so we're thinking it might be fun to float around the world in a luxo-hotel." http://gizmodo.com/337228...

"This sort of smugness is prevalent among morning people, who count among their ranks Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, nearly every American president, and even Jesus. (See Mark 1:35: "And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.") Night people are stuck with psychopaths like Adolf Hitler and Juan Arreola, the guy in Pennsylvania who nearly killed his girlfriend's 2-year-old last year, explaining to a judge, "I'm not a morning person.""

this person is a lightweight: "One day, after crawling out of bed at 10:30, I decided enough was enough. I needed help."
- bob
So. how is the going to bed at a reasonable hour/ waking up in the morning going? ;)
- Clare Dibble
I've found that flying to the other side of the world is an effective way to transition. At school I'm a night person, but at work, on the other side of the globe, I have to get up early. Jetlag definitely makes it easier.

I don't know why you fight it, you powers obviously come from the night.

5:26 AM - All it takes is several alarm clocks and caffeine.

I think as you get older you tend to become more of a morning person naturally. I and a lot of my friends have had that experience#

At age 46, I can't sleep until noon on Saturday any more. But I can't easily wake up at 5 yet.

I'm not really a morning person, but I get up at 5am and spend about 2 hours reading feeds, drinking coffee and email before I get ready to work. Sometimes I'll actually be motivated enough to work out. I found that I need very little sleep to function, at about 4.5 - 5 hours. I'm sure my body suffers for it though.
- Vince DeGeorge
Every time I've tried to be a morning person, I've ended up having my schedule shift right back to being up really late within a week, usually less. I'm not wired for it. :D
- Voyagerfan5761
The only time in my life I became a morning person was when I was in the Peace Corps-- no TV or computer meant not much to do at night, plus my job required me to wake up early. I actually woke up at 7:00 without an alarm! A miracle. I agree the author ia a lightweight if she thinks 10:30 is late; now I often go to bed at 3:00 and wake up at 11:30. So far every attempt to shift into a more "normal" schedule has failed.
- Shannon Jiménez
I don't think i will ever be someone who gets up and goes to bed early. unless maybe i suffer (further?) damage to my frontal lobes. yesterday I actually got about 7 hours of sleep and I was a changed person, though. for the better.

It's actually the other way around. The sun's rays from 5:00am-10:00am cause smugness, and in advanced cases, intolerable cheer. We late risers are simply protecting ourselves.
- Neil Kandalgaonkar
I've been getting up at 6am (sometimes earlier) since I left my office job. Partly it's the summer sun that's getting me up so early, but mostly I'm excited to get up to work on things I actually care about. Before, after work, I spent my evenings frantically cramming in all the stuff I wanted to get done for myself, which usually didn't end until 1am, which made it hard to get up for work. I also don't have problems sleeping anymore since I left. Wheeeeee!
