YouSendIt.com - Anika Malone
FTP server can be the best, otherwise Justins suggestion though you might want to either save it in a place that requires authentication or encrypt the file. - alphaxion

Pownce - Didier Lahely
www.dropio.com is very good. - Mark Aitken
adrive? Could be nice for a low-techie for long-term file-give relationship, you just upload to them (their account) instead of having them download from you. They just log in, file is there. With the same shared login, it's even better. - Zu aka ElijahBailey
I see that as just warning the user: Me - "Yep, it's there" and he simply just click that bookmark, it's there with all the other files. Easy way, for the worst in low-tech, I'd make the bookmark and leave 'em with that. There's a simple full-screen Java file browser similar to usual OS solutions with adrive so it can be user-friendly to this point. - Zu aka ElijahBailey
yeah, it looks great. haven't look at that one before. very simple but effective. - Peter Theill
If you have .Mac/MobileMe I highly recommend using FileChute http://tinyurl.com/bslc - John Samuelson
There should be a service for files like ipaper(scribd) for docs - automatic uploading and send mail recipients a link... - Servaas Schrama
