While I agree with the general points, your strategy will make Friendfeed compete with other networks. But you've focused on the content end. That's good - and is a strength for FF. But they have to focus on the "friend" part of the equation. Finding and connecting with new people should be simpler. There needs to be a real people discovery engine. I would love to see something that would allow me to collect, store and assert metadata for myself, my friends and everyone else.

Lorin Agreed! about the Friending part. FF should be the best people recommendation engine on the web. The also need to be a center for trending data and information

I never liked FriendFeed. I'm on it, but never spend time on it. But first reaction to this new beta is very positive.
