#walk2002 Ten years ago yesterday was a tough day. First time on van team. We secured a place for the tent after we went shopping for the day's provisions. It did eventually get easier. The next day was back to walking for me. We stayed next to a glider field that night, and had veggie chili for dinner.

I did not take any photos while I was on van team. That was usually the case while on van team -- so busy and all. The next day, I only took one photo. At the beginning of that day, it was raining just a little bit. The first four nights, it rained. The fifth night (ten years ago today) was the first time we slept under the tent with the flaps off.

I decided to be a bit artistic with this photo, and I made it look a bit like an oil painting. The sun did come out by late morning.
