The problem TiVo ran into (and WebTV also) was that the cable companies control everything. Once they partnered with companies with better UIs, they created internal projects to build their own DVRs, and then ended the partnerships. It's an unfortunate reality of business that there are strategic issues beyond user experience that determine success. - Chris White

No, but I also doubt it enhances their performance in doing their jobs. Nobody wants to read these corporate blogs. It's just part of upper management's desire to be on the cutting edge. Leave the blogging to the bloggers. - Chris White
