"Also, if Cobra Commander had said anything even remotely close to "Unsubstantiated fantasy... LIES! LIES!" I would have forgiven the movie ALL of its faults."

"Try seeing this as part of a Hasbro double-feature with Transformers 2. Transformers 2 makes GI Joe look positively Oscar-Worthy. Also, both movies appear to have preview footage for the upcoming Battleship movie. Other thoughts: - GI Joe had the explosions that couldn't make it in a Michael Bay film. (Sidenote: If Michael Bay could cast explosions instead of actors, he would.) - Too many Darth Maul references (thanks to Ray Park playing Snake Eyes). At least two of these references are within 5 minutes of eachother. - No GI Joe toy was left unseen. - Balance of red lasers to blue lasers was a little off. - I think GI Joe wanted to be Star Wars - Darth Maul, Gungan City [JonnyAce can tell you I was looking for Jar-Jar], and I swear Cobra Commander sounded more like Darth Vader than anything else. However, this movie was PERFECT summer drive-in fare."

"I'm potentially considering buying an artist edition ultimate fancy edition AND a regular boring one just to pass the boring one on to people who NEED to read this but apparently don't understand the internet."

"That was going to be my second suggestion, to auction off #1. In that case, I totally want #13. I'll still throw in the extra 5 bucks JUST BECAUSE I CAN."

"Also I'm pretty sure that as soon as I saw this come up it was nothing but "ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod" - JonnyAce can verify. This is EPIC."

"I'm right there with you on not wanting to leave Verizon. But I also don't know if I can give up having a real QWERTY keyboard and switch to a virtual one, which is what I'd have to do if I gave my my Voyager and got the iPhone. Hopefully by the time I have to get a new phone anyway I'll have the option."

"What's your favorite regional fast food chain (could be in Texas, or could be somewhere else that you've been, but if possible leave out McD's, BK, and other big national chains)? What's your favorite thing on the menu there? Sorry if this question makes anyone hungry and/or sick."

"Joel sad/frightened eyes in the final panel are bringing tears to my eyes. Also, because I am apparently horribly illiterate, I misread "Richard Geeresque tainting" as "Richard Gere's taint" which somehow also felt appropriate."

"Half the time I was watching the movie, I was confused because I couldn't understand how John Connor could possibly be Batman, yet there was that growly gravely voice..."

"For a nice comparison of the Fall 2009 season, night by night showing what shows will be competing against eachother, you can always check out Variety: http://www.variety.com/index...... (at the bottom there's also a link to the Winter 2009-2010 schedule, since it will be changing at that point for many of the networks). Also... how long do you give the NBC Jay Leno at 10pm experiment before it explodes in NBCs collective face?"
- Christine Lawrence
"Because they'd still rather give shows they think have more of a mass appeal the better timeslots. But keeping 'Til Death around is a SERIOUS slap in the face. Dollhouse will be up against Medium (transplanted from NBC to CBS) and... UGLY BETTY? Wow."
- Christine Lawrence
"While the concept of a Dollhouse/Fringe/Terminator night sounds great, FOX couldn't do it because their primetime is only 2 hours long (8-10pm) I agree, though, that Terminator should have been saved over Dollhouse, especially with the potential for this summer's Terminator: Salvation to create a buzz... a contact high, if you will."
