Clever idea! I haven't played with the imaginary friends feature yet, but is sounds like you found an interesting application for it. I use Google Reader for RSS feeds. I'm really addicted to it. It might be hard for me to change to a different method. I may have to set FF up in parallel to see if it is as easy to use.

Thanks Jeff. I know, it's hard to move away from something you are so used to, but if you are spending soooo much time on FF anyway, it makes sense (in my opinion). I like one stop shops :)

Argh, I forgot to cite this. I will do it now. Sorry Justin.

I agree, Justin. I was thinking about this today during the imaginary friend discussion, and wondered if it save time to have all my RSS feeds here.

J.Phil: no worries. I liked your post and just like to see that the imaginary friend feature is being discovered now.

Update: "For some reason, I totally blanked on the fact that Justin Corn wrote up his experience using FriendFeed as an RSS reader and organizer on his own blog. I feel especially bad because I encouraged Justin to write it! Honestly, I feel like a complete heel. When it comes to giving credit, I have a thing or two to learn. My unreserved apologies, Justin." http://blog.justinkorn.com/index...

I just got around to reading this. Justin, I think you just made my mind boggle.

Harvey: As long as I'm not a boggle head, I'm glad you enjoyed the post.

Imaginary friend is great, but wouldn't be great if FF add a sort of reader button on the front page, the rss reader function is hide so inside that people seldom use it, I wish Google Reader to add some FF feature, and at the same time, I wish FF to add some GR function as well Wouldn't be great that we can subscribe and share feed in one place,I mean a great place,GR and FF just do one function well, you know.

Steve - I think FriendFeed should make the imaginary friend feed more easily accessible. Since no one is commenting or liking it, it gets buried really quickly. If you want a tab to your GoogleReader, try using this GreaseMonkey script: http://userscripts.org/scripts...

Is it a sort of Firefox addons? I wish FF will do this itself
