They could have come up with a better name. 'Cyber' is so 90s.
- Chrissie M
Guh, I'm annoyed. I know, childish, but I just got home and I want to see what I missed and it's down. D:
- Colette
Sounds kinda like "Giant Enemy Crab" to me. But that's because it's late here. I'll be heading for bed now *yawns* see you guys
- Kamilah Gill

Sing to the phrase of "Jimmy Crack Corn". "Twitter is down and I don't care, Twitter is down and I don't care. Twitter is down and I don't caaaaarrrrreee... the lists have gone away."
- Louis Gray
I like pie, too. We should hang out.
- Steven Perez
from IM
interestingly, Twitter updates are still showing up, with people complaining that Twitter isn't working =/ I guess there's a lag. or something.
- Kamilah Gill
I can't get to it via the web... but when you search for twitter on Google you can see the firehose is still pumping real-time to Google's servers
- Ankush Narula
When twitter was on a go slow yesterday I missed out on answering a @namecheap Xmas trivia question. Now it looks like I will miss this hours. *shakes fist*
- Chrissie M
I rather like lists, it enables me to see tweets by people who I'm not following in context with others in their location/field.
- Simon Curran
yes... lists are useful... when twitter isn't in the shitter...
- Ankush Narula
I find pie to be a bit hit and miss though.
- Simon Curran
I can't seen Mark's photos, but after a little troubleshooting session with Marshall Kirkpatrick during net@night (http://friendfeed.com/twit-co...), it looks like Zuckerberg might have it set to Friends of Friends. Who here sees a "Photos" tag at http://www.facebook.com/zuck#... ? Only see "Info" and "Wall"
- Ken Sheppardson
That's the point - there is no "public" or "private" any more. It's all about what you enable others to see. It's custom per user. He's public on some things, private on others, just like anyone else can be. The power of this new update is it gives you more control on an item-by-item basis, whereas before that wasn't quite the case.
- Jesse Stay
Umm... Actually, this update gives you far less control, since it groups a lot of items together that used to be separated. The update really does two things: 1) brings attention to it, allowing FB to lie and say "now we have better privacy controls", and 2) allow FB to change the terms to make more things public (like friends list) that were not public before. The whole update is a big...

This is difficult to explain without sounding creepy but... There is nothing as beautiful than a woman who has just showered, in her pajamas, still damp hair and no make up... It's just hard to... well... find or ask people other than Rachael to let me photograph them like this... I know, weird, but you know...
Lord knows I complain about laundry, but I have to admit that it is kind of fun. That is, my kids make it fun. They love to throw away the dryer lint or start the washer. When I’m folding, they fight to help and mostly fold their own clothes. Then they race to see who could put away the most clothes the fastest. Best thing was earlier in the year... - http://faboomama.tumblr.com/post...
"I know the day will soon come when they will whine about helping. That’s when they start doing their own laundry." *cackle* good plan
- Michael W. May
I think I'm ahead of the curve. They know that they need to sort clothes and they help with that. They both know how to press the buttons on the washer. Just need to get them to use the right temp for the clothes, then I'm golden. Adrian's even further along with the dishwasher. They both load/empty it and know how to start it up.
- Admiral Anika
Yes, laundry is fun. I drop it off, and a day later I pick it up. How fun.
- MVB (Grinch of FF)
Ugh. I could never drop of my clothes. I have a hard enough time remembering to go to the dry cleaners for one item. Though, the places near my old place picked up and dropped off laundry.
- Admiral Anika
It's so much easier to remember to pick up the stuff when you look in the closet and you have no trousers or underwear.
