The iGoogle advertisement under my search bar really rubs me the wrong way. I wish someone at google could be made to understand just how aggressively I don't care who "Ryan, Rachael, Ashton, Demi, Martha and more" are, or what their publicists think their iGoogle pages should look like...
Studios don't pick on real companies much, they use fictional stand-ins: Carver Media Group (Big Media), Stark Industries (Big Military-Industrial), International Bank of Business & Credit (Big Finance), and so on. When will Big Internet Search be menacing enough to be a suitable backdrop for the twisted schemes of its evil overlord?
