Was warned that I wouldn't like Qdoba because I like Chipotle. Advice was wrong. I liked it. Different but good.
I was a Chipotle devotee for several years. I always had one nearby until I moved back to the beach. But we did have a Qdoba (which we also had in Seattle). I called it my Chipotle methadone. Then we lost the Qdoba. All we have that's even close is Salsarita's which I hated. Now that I'm vegetarian, Salsarita's isn't so bad. But I'm still trying to think of other reasons to make the 3.5 hour drive up to Charlotte to get my Chipotle fix. - Paul Reynolds
We punched in "Mexican" into the GPS phone and within 5 miles there was Chipotle, Qdoba, Salsaritas, El Loro, El Azteca, and the list kept going all in the "get it and go home" category. Lotsa choices for generic quick TexMex here. - J Wynia
Oh we also have a Moe's. But it's not convenient to my little bubble and the couple times we went was very disappointing. - Paul Reynolds
Moe's is unfortunate at best... - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
Tina is pretty much right with her description of Moe's. - Alex Scoble
I once got fussed at for saying that Moe's couldn't carry Chipotle's jock. I still stand by my words. Does Moe's have any avocado in their guacamole? - Ha3rvey (Free hugs!)
The funny thing is at Chipotle, no matter what part of the country I've been in, I've been able to pick out the groups of other "computer guys" lunching there. :o) - Paul Reynolds
That's because "computer guy" culture is more homogeneous than nearly any other. - J Wynia
