dug up this old article, the tools discussion is out of date, but still a valid article: low-fidelity wireframes work great, but what if you're the interaction designer and the visual designer? can someone create a tool called Omnigraffle-photoshop? - Karl via Bookmarklet
or omnigraffle to be more like photoshop? - Karl
isn't that illustrator? - david robinson
yea, but I'm hoping omnigraffle just becomes more pixel perfect so I can do more html mocks with it...also, I'm hate'n on adobe's disregard to interaction design or their weaksauce web development with their tools. what is so great about CS4 for web developers? also, I'm heavily influenced by my new workflow @ ning ;) - Karl

Did the same - would be nice if they included Digital Copy with the Blu-Ray - James Hull
Since, technically, even ripping the DVD you own is considered illegal (by DMCA) and you already own the movie (via Blu-ray), couldn't you just rip it from a rented/borrowed DVD? (I'm not a legal expert or condoning anything; just throwing it out there.) - Oliver Ortega Chua
I wouldn't do that Oliver. In fact, I wasn't positive the act of ripping the DVD was technically illegal unless you plan to redistribute. Looks like I was wrong. I'll have to look into legal solutions that retain the DVD's encryption and can make digital copies (I do NOT want to Real DVD) - Bwana McCall
I can't believe I just discovered Handbrake yesterday. That is one fine tool. - Sarah Perez
handbrake is great, does anyone do the media server thing with their PS3? trying to solve that with a mac. - Karl
See Sarah, if you were subscribed to Bwana.TV, you would have known about it in August 2007 :D :P ;) http://www.bwana.tv/2007/08/28... - Bwana McCall
Karl, if you're on Windows, Orb is a decent solution http://www.orb.com/gamers/inde.... I'm still looking for an _easy_, free solution for Mac OS X, but I haven't found one yet. The best pay solution may be Nullriver's MediaLink http://www.nullriver.com/produ... - Bwana McCall

Yeah, I was going to mention Real DVD. Anyway, Orb is great! I use it with my Xbox 360. - Oliver Ortega Chua
I can't get DVDs ripped from Handbrake to play on my iPhone. What's your secret? - solipsisticnation

I genuinely miss the simplicity and beauty of Muxtape. On a site so simple and clean in design and purpose, I felt more tangibly connected to other users than any other site I use regularly. - Lauren Ellsworth
miss'n mux a lot, any other alternatives other than opentape? - Karl
I didn't feel much of a connection to other Muxtape users. Looking for other tapes always felt like sticking my hand into a big grab-bag of other people's tastes. Nothing compared to the power of Last.FM neighbors. I did love the simple interface for showing off my own mixes. - Nicholas Molnar
