One's 9 months and the other is estimated as being 1-2 years. They start to get a little calmer around this age. I like kittens, but they can be pretty crazy. Plus, I suspect that kittens find their way out of the shelter much sooner than cats that don't look kitten-size anymore. - Katy Southern

Names have not yet been determined. I think I know what I want to name the little grey one, but I want to wait until I'm sure. I told my niece she could provide suggestions for the other cat, so I'm waiting to hear her suggestions (probably tomorrow). - Katy Southern

Oh, there will be pictures! One kitty is definite. The other has a few more days worth of waiting period (to see if someone claims it), but they said I could take it home and "foster" it until the waiting period is up on Tuesday. Then, I can go in and make it officially mine. - Katy Southern

These are the same guys that accidentally sent a firework through my yard on the Fourth of July and set a bush on fire. I am watching very closely and thinking about the fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink. - Katy Southern

If I were you, I'd be calling the police before one of them gets hurt or the fire gets out of control. Kids who play with fire are often into even worse things or will be eventually. - Jill, Superhero Librarian
As tempting as that is, they are doing it in their fire pit which is right on the edge of the lake. The wind is blowing towards the lake, so I'm not as concerned as I would be if it weren't. They are staying near it and I see they have buckets by the lake (they usually douse embers with lake water). - Katy Southern
