I'm sticking with the 8gb 1st gen. No motivation to upgrade plus I think there will be a 'iphone nano' in 6 months.

Tad - It's unnecessary. I can already browse the web and do a lot through Opera Mini on my current phone, a Razr V3m.

Neither. I like my N95. It still has no tethering, no flash for the camera, and no *real* video support. Plus no cut & paste. Oh, and no support for bluetooth keyboards.

I'm going for the 8G. I'll be cycling through lots of video content on a daily basis so more drive space isn't really a concern. My iPod can handle the heavy hauling. I'll use the iPhone for several Gigs of Smart and Favorite Playlists.

My 16GB iTouch will have to be it for now. My business is not looking at iPhones at all. BB will be it for a while. I am somewhat addicted to my BB and the iTouch gives me everything but the phone. I will immediately pay the $9.99 to download the iTouch upgrade so I can use the third party apps. Hope someone has does a book reader app, like MobiPocket.

Im going to have to wait to see if Rogers ( canadian ) alters the data plan rates when marketing the Iphone . Are data plans are currently ridicoulously high . we need more competition in canada .

Neither - sticking with my BlackBerry Curve 8830 which ALREADY has 16GB and unlimited 3G internet & email; plus 2.0MPix Camera & Video; plus QWERTY keyboard so I can reply to you in twitter!... best part is that I don't feed any more cash to the evil AT&T empire. I only pay $30 bucks for unlimited 3G internet, data and email!! iPhone can't touch that! My phone bill is under $100 bucks folks. think about that for a sec.

Twitter is a converstaion. Facebook is approaching conversation status. FrienFeed is some hybrid between replies and conversations. Blogs are replies.

NinjaKai: Why is Facebook more like conversation than FriendFeed's replies/conversations? Is it because Facebook has DM & IM? I find FriendFeed much more conversational than Facebook unless I use Facebook-IM. The posting of comments is so FAST... I'm having fun having discussions with a FriendFeed group in Iran. The FF post-comments method holds threads much better than Twitter & responds much faster than e-mail.
