But no one makes love like Neil Patrick Harris is dancing? FAIL!

My brother in law in the Philippines can't be dissuaded from naming his son Elmo. I hope that unborn boy is ready to be tormented for the rest of his life. Why do parents do that to their kids?
- Bradley Farless
You know, in my heart I hope that people like NPH who seem just so damn awesome on the screen are just as cool in real life. Anyone met the fellow in person?
- Adam Lasnik
I'm sure he's a decent guy. Never met him, though.
- Josh Haley
But he sure can dance, just look at him go!
- Zulema ◕ ◡ ◕
Love him when he's unicorn watching.
- Gabrielle V
Okay, I swear I am not just pimpin' good swing music, but I was looking at this GIF and listening to this song - http://lala.com/zPe9 ("Billie's Bounce" performed live by Buddy Rich) - and it matches! :o
- Adam Lasnik
Gross. I just unliked to be contrary. Yet another reason why I pulled back from FriendFeed. And why getting swallowed up by Facebook, the great leveler, couldn't make more sense.
- Rick Powell
That's right, all you horrible time-wasters you! Get back to talking about kernels and APIs! Have you no Protestant work-ethic? /sarcasm
- Neal Jansons
Karen Kay RT: @conniegreen @LoveRockstar @KarenLKay looking so forward to meeting you both at #Un7 in San Antonio [You too, Connie! C U next week!] - http://www.facebook.com/profile...
What is DMU? I've tried to Google It, but I'm not having any luck.
- Jim Reverend
DMU is where I hang out on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups... If you are interested in an uncensored internet forum with no holds barred photo critiques it's a great place. A really good community with lots of political discourse etc., but also potentially offensive for many due to the uncensored nature of the place and some of the flickr folk it subsequently attracts. I call it home there though.
- Thomas Hawk
Oh yes. I've read you talking about this place more than once. Just didn't put the two together. Thanks!

I love this site. The Friendfeed presentation that will be posted tomorrow was my first in Prezi and I absolutely love it.

I've started using this in a lot of my Physics lessons to great effect - really nice bit of software.
- Rich
I've heard this can be somewhat difficult or time-consuming for the everyday person to learn how to use. Do you think this is true?
- Jannifer @wordsforliving
this is fantastic, i have presentation on wed will use this
- Robert Higgins
Jannifer - It does have a bit of a learning curve. Took me a couple of hours to get used to it but it was well worth it.
- Keith - @tsudo
It's strange I found the limitations of design elements make me much more creative. It's as if you were only giving a palette of 6 colors but you found ways to make a painting even more interesting.

"On sweltering summer days during my childhood, the only thing that could drag my friends and me from the respite of shade trees was the promise of sugary, iced treats. Running to the ice cream truck or the local market with scrounged-up change in hand is one of those quintessential childhood memories that many of us share. And the goodies we gravitated toward, much like the experience itself, remain among the ranks of summer’s permanent representatives, along with barbecues and swimming pools. The names may have changed over the years and the flavors may have branched out, but our favorite ice cream and Popsicle purchases are as popular and enduring as ever."

Drumsticks. There's a little mom & pop place nearby that sells custom ones with different kinds of nuts. I had one with honey roasted almonds and just about died from happiness.

Yeah, they have something like 6 different chocolates they put inside the cones. They use sugar and waffle cones. Then you just order your ice cream, They dip that in chocolate (like Magic Shell, it freezes instantly) and then you get your toppings.

Graveyards are oases of tranquility in this chaotic world. They are places where some people finally find - in Earth’s welcoming bosom - the peace and solitude they craved for their entire lives. Is there really an afterlife? No one really can tell for sure. But it sure would be great if there were one. Here are a few images inspired by the evocative imagery that Gaiman conjures up in his book. All the images were released under various Creative Commons Licenses by their photographers.
