What Twitter Can Learn from Google Reader - http://www.labnol.org/interne...
"If you have ever used Google Reader before, you probably know about "feed bundles" - a set of 8-10 web feeds related to a particular topic that you can subscribe to all at once. Feed Bundles are again "official" suggestions from Google but, unlike Twitter, they aren’t created or approved manually. Twitter needs similar "user bundles" so that a new person can easily find out (and follow) other popular users who "tweet" on topics that may interest him or her. " - Meryn Stol
Good post, Amit! - Meryn Stol
As I said on http://friendfeed.com/e... : FriendFeed could benefit from the same, I think. - Meryn Stol
I didn't know about the bundles. Are the top recommendations bundles of feeds? There is a confusion I think where people think non-human recommendations are more objective. They really aren't. The algorithms are completely human made and reflect the bias of what's important for their makers. - Todd Hoff
