Weirdness. Stranger just private messaged me on LJ, needs someone to talk to about a medical condition and people using it against her. Awkward. WTF? What's a nice way to say no without causing hurt or offence?
refer her to a legal person. For exaple my friend called me in a RIGHT pickle about discrimination. I said " You know you have my sympathy but I am so not really an expert. But I can get someone else to call you you who is. I know he would be happy to help". Then I listen to her as a friend but didn't speak my opinion :)

How about something along the lines of "I'm sorry you are feeling bad, but I don't think I'm the person you should be talking to about this. How about xyz"??

Another bad night. Been awake since 6am. Having choc-chip pancakes with Josiah.
Had horrible dreams when I did sleep. In one of them, my Dad (who died in 1993) told me he didn't love me and never had :o( I woke up drenched in sweat.

HEY! So my best friend was assulted last night and we delt with it and the gang are under arrest and all is well. BUT after I read your post I said to him - I think we now need to make it all better with pancakes. Well we did and it is! So thank you for your inspiration xxx

Lady - He also has/had a fairly significant solo career. Probably his biggest solo song is "I Can't Drive 55" but he's had a few other marginal hits on his own. I'm not a fan of Van Halen in the least, but I do kind of like Sammy's solo stuff. BTW, he's also the face behind Cabo Wabo Tequila if anyone here drinks that stuff (even when I did drink, I wouldn't go near tequila).
