Steve: Yeah it looks like Reqall is more structured to use as a task management app. It's sort of like Evernote but has a lot more structure which is good b/c the product is tailored towards being a task manager but bad in the same sense as it's not as flexible as Evernote is. The next wave will be companies proving that task structure on top of Evernote using their API. That will be really exciting to see.

I used to really like the combination of Remember the Milk and Jott for task management. Once Jott went pay-only, i missed the ability to add todo items by voice, but not enough to pay $13/month. Reqall, at $24/year, is much more reasonable. I do like my RTM though; and reqall doesn't appear to have the same list organization capabilities.

I'm doing a 2-day cleanse with http://blueprintcleanse.com/. I've never done a juice cleanse before, so I only wanted the beginner's version. I was starving all day but the last juice (a cashew nut, cinnamon, agave concoction seemed to help stave off the hunger for a bit longer than the others). Will see how I feel tomorrow - day 2 of 2.

I get all these dating ads and I've specifically selected I'm no on FB for dating, utter useless. Get the targets right it might work but I tend to ignore ads.

Nearly every ad I get from Facebook for a local business is in San Francisco. I live in Seattle. I haven't lived in the Bay Area since before I joined Facebook. I've been conducting a little experiment lately, giving a thumbs down to every ad from a business in California, marking them as irrelevant. I have yet to get an ad for a business in Seattle. Their ad system isn't just bad, it's horrendously and completely broken.

I didn't even know there were ads on Facebook. I've only ever used it with Firefox and ABP. Apparently it works pretty well.

Please, ask every single interviewee if they see an alternative to a money economy. Not communicated central planning of course, but something totally new, based on the latest information technology (and social media of course!). I think we can do better than our age-old money economy. Money, interest and banks were invented FAR before electricity, the telephone and the internet. We have just "patched" an old system. It's the same old system, but running at light speed. We can do better.

I've noticed in the last few years that birds are much more social with humans. Not just pigeons, but when I'm mowing my lawn, blackbirds and sparrows land right next to me and don't seem at all concerned with me. I'll take my camera out next time to prove it. Anyway, that's what this photo triggered in my mind. I know, weird thoughts.

To recruit the women gamers, we posted an entry on King.com's blog an had a flood of responses within minutes. One of our selected women gamers got stuck in traffic enroute to the event, so we asked the 71 year old mom of another one of our panelists to fill in. Couldn't believe she was an avid gamer too. She told us her arm sometimes cramps up when she plays because she gets into it so much (and wants to win!).

we just need a better way of moving messages from your phone to your email and back. If people did not freak out when they got an automated message on their phone that you emailed and a computer read out loud this might even work. thoughts?

Thanks Chris for sending your article. Dominic and I were just wondering if there were any resources on the Internet to make medical records / hospitals / doctors ,etc. more understandable, accessible and transparent. We just found out my doctor now isn't in the insurance plan we spent months trying to sort out and I've got a surgery already scheduled with him so this will be a real challenge. Knowing how easy it is in the UK makes it that much more frustrating dealing with the ineptitude here.
