"LOL Symbian is like DOS compared to iphone but it still has more market share than android, iphone and winmo combined. It works and it works well...scales from $100 handsets through to $1000 ones like the iphone - try than with WinMo and the iToy."

"While to go before they start taking over the market. Nokia still has more than both of them combined. Look at the phone market overall and you see the pure scale of it. The fastest growing segment is developing countries and people in those countries want/need sub $100 phones. Apple and RIM just can't compete here. Whereas Symbian can scale down to a $100 phone and still work I'd like to see that Apple do that. RIM manage it to an extent."

"Preferred way: Get a phone that doesn't treat you like a child like Apple does with the iphone. I have umpteen which ways to listen to music on my Nokia. One of them is even this amazing invention called a radio. Another reason why.. http://www.iphonessuck.com"

"No, Hummer is appropriate. All bling but when it comes to driving the iphone it's like driving a brick with no guts but lots of sound."

"It's not. The world wide market place for phones is somewhere about 2.5 billion. The iphone is just a drop in the ocean. http://www.iphonessuck.com"

"British actors are usually better trained. Including Shakespearean acting. The American attitude tends to be: "If they're good looking, they got the job""

"Capacative touchscreens suck too. Just for different reasons. http://www.iphonessuck.com/40... ... I also agree that seriously - Every phone I've had for 5 years + has been capable of doing what the iphone is just being upgraded to do. Like video chat. This is not a brave new world. It's just an eye opener for iphone fanboys who must have been using phones from the 1990s prior to the iphone."

"Tobacco smokers and heavy drinks pay for their medical care up front in the ridiculous taxes they pay for their habits. At least they do in Aus, I know things are a bit cheaper in the states. - $13 US for a six pack of beer here - $8 US for a pack of cigarettes All thanks to taxes. So if anyone wants to complain about how these people are having their medical treatment down the line subsidised by everyone else can shut the fuck up."

"Why does Australia have a boomerang? Everyone knows Australians were sent in to battle with just a butter knife and a pair of shorts. That's much more than we had in WWI. At Galipolli we were sent in as human shields for the brits. I remember hearing that as a percentage of population Australia suffered the most losses of any allied country in WWI and possibly even WWII."

"Actually the 3 most abundant elements on this planet are oxygen, hydrogen and silicon. Carbon is relatively rare. Now if you want to talk about what the planet is actually composed of that's silicon and aluminium. Oxygen and hydrogen makes up some ridiculously small percentage of solid planets like earth."

"I don't get it. People seem to be suggesting that Bolivia is run by a dictator. Looks more like a nice democratic socialist system to me. One that cares about the welfare of its people (with the nationalisation of exploited resources). Although I guess the US considers all these things a threat right. Wouldn't want to turn out like Europe would we."

"In Australia Digg would have a visit from the feds for featuring this kind of content. Oh how I hope for a good government. One day maybe."

"LOL. No I'm not neglecting it. Just didn't feel the need to mention it. The Android is doing very well for a newly launched product that is pretty much only available in the states. The iphone on the other hand is only bought by Apple Fanboys."

"Try reading the post I was replying to. Might help you understand why I provided an answer which either way would make the poster sound like an idiot. Our gun death figures haven't gone up since the ban. I agree they haven't gone down that much either. But then again our laws were very strict in the first place. Either way it shows that a society obsessed with owning guns is going have problems with people ending up dead. Guns only have one purpose and that is to kill people. Knives can also be used for eating and cutting things."
