I think Parr overestimates digital preservation of data from today's social media sites surviving well into the future or the ability of future researchers to find and sort through what does survive. - Liam Sullivan
Liam: My rationale is that digital data takes seconds to back up, as opposed to physical data. Back-ups of data exist, and unless the world experiences nuclear winter, the data will survive. Hell, it'll survive even despite because of server rooms shielded against EMP. - Ben Parr
