An interesting consistent pattern is forming: The poorer the neighborhood, the nicer the people. Only rude people in the past few days were the fat cats who were annoyed that I was taking time away from their wine sipping.
Operation: Crate the Puppy progresses smoothly. Puppy is currently snoozing with the crate door closed. Puppy has also taken his bone to chew inside the crate. Puppy has also attempted to hide from Cat inside the crate.
Full day of work turned into "You've already been hired, you don't need to be here... also, driving time will not be paid." Guess I was too happy to have a full day of work.
Apparently I'm scheduled for Census training starting Tuesday in Eugene, then four more days in Sutherlin. I'm guessing my current phase is over (I've had zero information). I really can't wait to have a job thats run with even the smallest amount of competence. Gotta love the government.
Stupid PC wouldn't boot when the new external HDD was connected. Turned out my BIOS settings were set to boot to external devices before the C:\ drive. Stupid thing.
Ahh, gorvernment. You are great. I was scheduled to go to a place tomorrow that was classified as a group quarters (which was an error) and I was told to expect about 20 people "experiencing homelessness". Well, thats been cancelled as it turns out that that location is actually a laundry room.
The new puppy's favorite chew toy seems to be humans. I'll have to do some research to try and curb that. Oh yeah, we got a new puppy. Name's Dundee. Beagle/Border Collie mix. He's pretty neat.
