Re: Is Google glass just for men? women record their protest - http://www.thenewstribe.com/2013...
"Oh Please.... All the Google ads for the device even before the explorers program were mostly women wearing it, and several of the project leads are women. Except for Sergey Brin, no men were seen wearing this this until it was beng send to developers, who happen to be mostly men by reality. No woman believes she can't have it." - Keith Barrett

Re: Google Glass's White Male Problem - http://www.pcmag.com/article...
"You're an idiot. First framing things as an ethnic situation tells us more about you than others. The world is not a better place if you can only be satisfied if there is a perfect ratio blend of sex, ethnics, skin color, and religion. Stop focusing on birth biology and look at character, background, affluence, education, ... Second; the problem is currently accessible by developers, not the general public. Software ingineering does not have your desired mix of groups. Lastly your premise is ridiculously wrong. There are plenty of "non-white male only" Glass users. In fact the leads of the product development itself vary. Clearly you are just blind to it; and that's as far as I'm going to say on that." - Keith Barrett

Re: We expect too much of geeks - http://threads2.scripting.com/2013...
"Unfortunately most programmers in their 20s don't listen to older, experienced ones. Most of them are also single and don't own homes, so they can't yet relate to preferring going home at the end of the day to their family instead of working (or playing) until midnight." - Keith Barrett
