Heading to San Antonio for Frederik Schodt's lecture on Miyazaki at the San Antonio Museum of Art.
Just got back from a great evening. Dinner with the manga couple Konohana Sakuya at Yu Izagaya, and then I drove them around to see Austin at night. And to top it off, I got to see some rich A-hole in a convertible Mercedez get pulled over after zipping around in traffic and nearly causing an accident. I love seeing the rich get humbled.

@ambersimmons Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment ... since you know how truly awesome it is to be a nerd. ;-)
I know HTML is part of being an SEO, but I still enjoy those small victories where I really have to hand-code something in order to succeed.
Looks like the home buying tax credit will be extended 'til June, so there's a chance I may buy. But I waffle on that decision like Favre.
@JeffreyPreston Hey, thanks for the response! As always, you are the man!
Oh 9:00, you creeped up on me while I was still at work. Grr. I guess I should go home.
Anyone have an example of a search I can run on Google in which a subdomain (subdomain.domain.com) ranks in the top 5?

I hope the sincerity of my request wasn't lost amid the humorous choice of words.
My PDM got a kick out of my request to let me know about major site changes so I don't "crap my pants" when my reports change drastically.

Lookout comment-spammers. I'm particularly grumpy today, so those tactics I normally let slide aren't going under my radar today.

After a day off from work, it's time to head out and enjoy this month's culture salon by JASGA. Tonight it's a presentation on the shakuhachi (bamboo flute).

Hmm. I'm surprised there's only one "Stop looking down at your super-phone or I swear I will smash it!" group on Facebook.
What is up with all of the hair metal on my Pandora channel? Is that where music's going ... again?
@TheAnimeNetwork LOL. Right. It just moved from the big venues to the bar scene. ~_^ I'm just confused. I only plugged in J-Rock bands.
@TheAnimeNetwork Perhaps Pandora confuses visual kei with hair metal. ... They share the same hair spray, I guess.
@ambersimmons That's just the screwed up nature of the road system in Austin. Texas DoT doubles as the TX Home for the Mentally Bewildered.
