@garynixonn It's kind of a battery hog. Even on light days of usage, I'm down to 20% power. So, the battery life could be improved.

Just in case anyone cares to know, so far I'm happy with the Motorola Droid from Verizon. I'm only a week into owning it though.

The weekend's geekiness continues with me surrounded by my work laptop, my home laptop, and my Droid, while watching Star Trek.

Got geeky today and switched channels on my wireless network. I was seeing such massive leaching of my bandwidth from my neighbors, even though I do MAC address filtering and super-tight security. Turns out all wireless products use Channel 6 by default. I changed to Chanel 10, and everything's as smooth as butter.

@ambersimmons I'm tempted to offer free sterilization for people who wear them regularly in public. They pick the doctor. I'll pay the tab.

@ambersimmons Yeah, flip-flops quite an annoyance in Austin. Probably has more to do w/the slack-jawed, bovine, lazy idiots wearing them.

@ambersimmons Or it could be the "I'm so cool, I stopped caring how I look in public" attitude that includes wearing pajamas in public too.
