"yeah, that sounds about right for an entry-level music industry gig. is that what you're looking for? you kinda have to weigh the pros and cons... pros: small PR company, so you'd probably gain a ton of hands-on experience right away, making great contacts, etc. and hey, at least there IS health care. cons: well, the obvious. there ARE jobs that will pay you more... but most likely theyll be for a corporation where you have to 'pay your dues' for a bit. and like you said, prob won't be as good of an experience. it's all up to the person i think... some people work much better in a start-up/smaller feel where they have more control and can sacrifice their standard of living for a bit, but others can withstand a more 'cushy' position and having to deal with more corporate bull-swirl and aren't willing to compromise/take a risk. if you take the position, you'd have to be always looking for something else. keeping your ear out for other opportunities and network network network! i mean,..." - Kelly Reeves
