Turbaconducken (Turducken Wrapped in Bacon)

"Turbaconducken. That’s right — a chicken stuffed in duck stuffed in a turkey, all wrapped in bacon. Otherwise known as a bacon-wrapped turducken." D: - Jess Lee via Bookmarklet
mmmm....bacon - Paul
The amazing part is that the chicken *and* the duck *and* the turkey are wrapped in separate layers of bacon. Also amazing is that an entire site is dedicated to "Daily Updates on the World of Sweet, Sweet Bacon" - Bill Strathearn
I have to say that is some seriously unattractive food, regardless of how good it might taste. I'd love to see a professional chef try to dress that thing up... - Kamilah Gill
That's just wrong. - Mo Kargas
10 bird roast from posh british chef hugh fearnley-whittingstall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v... - Alex Gawley
@Alex: Wow. I didn't think the turbaconducken could be topped, but 9 birds stuffed into a turkey definitely wins. - Jess Lee
I also read it as bad German transliteration, something “turboconductive”, or maybe Italian, “turba con ducken”. - John Lam
wow, that's all kinds of bad. i bet it tastes fantastic though - Cee Bee

“Hi! I'd like to suggest a change to the formatting of comments on posts: The commenter's name should go first, followed by what they say. As is, it's difficult to read, having to skip to the end of the line, and then back to the front to read the comment.”

“I'd like to suggest a change to the formatting of the friends page, where you display the friends' names and the unsubscribe option. The "unsubscribe" text is too prominent, being in the same heavy blue as the persons name. It's almost like a subtitle to their name rather than a seldom used action.”

Perhaps use a slightly smaller font and the dim blue that you also use for links? - Mason Lee

I'd go with iPod touch. Much more functionality. - Mark Bao
Touch, definitely - Capn' One-Eye ☠

16Gb 1st Gen Touch here. Got it when they first came out. I not only don't leave the house without it, I rarely leave a room without it. - Mark VandenBerg
I've got a 1G Touch and I love it. - Bill Sodeman
def. a touch. - Joshua Schnell
Touch. No question. - Nick Reynolds via fftogo
The Nano. If you hate being awesome. - Phil Glockner
If you'll be going running with you iPod, then the Nano is better, otherwise get a Touch. - Paul Grav
Touch. - Roberto Bonini
Touch. After owning one since it came out it has changed what I use to access the internet. I am probably on the Touch 75% of the time and my laptop the other 25%. Game changing for me. But, I am right on the edge of buying the iPhone, not because I need the phone, but because I want more connectivity than I have been able to get with the Touch. I am not surrounded by free WiFi unless I am at home or certain restaurants and airports. That gets frustrating at times. Oh yeah, and it also plays music and podcasts. Thinking about dropping my Sirius subscription in the car since I listen to the Touch 95% of the time. - Michael Pardee

LOL!!! Awesome thread! - Dudu P
@Fleagle there's nothing wrong with her skills here; she asks question in a forum, not naive, but hopeful, and doesn't take her husband's "glitch" story at his word. It's her husband that should take some classes, not necessarily computer ones. - Vincent van Wylick

Big 3 Bailout - Average Wages for Detroit vs Japanese Transplants
16 hours ago - via Bookmarklet - Link
"For Detroit, [bankruptcy] means release from ruinous wage deals with their astronomical benefits (the hourly cost of a Big Three worker: $73; of an American worker for Toyota: $48), massive pension obligations, and unworkable work rules such as “job banks,” a euphemism for paying vast numbers of employees not to work." - Jess Lee via Bookmarklet
Like for the overall idea, not for the political name calling etc. - Erica Baker
I don't know precisely how the proposed bailout is structured yet, but it definitely gives me a scary, icky feeling at first glance. And while I do think that labor costs are *part* of US automakers' problems, it's obvious that they're far from the whole story. - Joel Webber
It's also worth noting that the article's author is Charles Krauthammer, who's hardly a useful source of unbiased information. Some of the commenters go so far as to suggest that US automakers would be fine if it weren't for CAFE standards, which is pretty absurd given that they also apply to companies that are doing just fine. - Joel Webber
