We're off to Disneyland even though Max has a broken arm in a soft cast that can't get wet or banged up. Anyone know which rides are still fun, but not too jarring (or wet)?
Kerah doing design work for the first time in 2 years... Max's classroom spread for their yearbook. Print design is really not my thing, but here goes, cuz it's due tomorrow. ;).
Kerah knocked out another tooth for Max. ;) This is the second one. I can hardly believe it. We were playing tag and ran in to each other. He was so tough... didn't cry and wasn't mad at all. He was a little worried the Tooth Fairy wouldn't come since we couldn't find the tooth on the playground, but I assured him that the only thing she cares...
Kerah at 5th TED: So proud of Sergey talking about working with China AND so happy Google gave all attendees the new Nexus One phone. Also, super impressed that Bill Gates is interested in tackling the climate problem.
Max is home sick, so we're taking advantage of the Netflix Instant Queu. We've watched Bugs Bunny and the Pink Panther (both from my childhood). Max was literally screaming with laughter. So great to see these old cartoons have such longevity. Plus, laughter is indeed the best medicine. :D.
Cirque du Soleil's "Ovo" feautres bugs (people) doing awesome tricks. First time I've seen a person balancing, swinging, and doing swinging handstands on a "loose" rope. Don't know how he did it. You must see it. Max and I were inspired to do tricks in the parking lot after. We were hoping to be discovered. ;).
Kerah experienced another first tonight: flash mobbing. At Stanford Shopping Center, we danced to Bette Midler's "Cool Yule" right near Santa. What an adrenaline rush! So much fun! Must do it again!
Kerah saw legendary dancer/choreographer (and now, best-selling author), Twyla Tharp, speak at the gorgeous new Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto tonight. Absolutely amazing woman. One philosophy she extended was that it's great if something's not working: it's an opportunity to do something different and even better.
