Awesome. Finally got a VS2010 Silverlight 4 project building in XP Mode on Win7. Using this info: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums...
Amusing to-do list app domain name - teuxdeux.com
@RickStrahl "root-relative path" I think
Can I run a VMWare Workstation (on a PC) virtual machine in VMWare Fusion (on a Mac)?
@bleroy - and WPF is "officially supported" on the server side?
@robconery - And I was struggling to come with a gift for my mom this xmas!
@mrdenny - don't sweat, I get it now. Thanks again
@NathanBowers - You can't quit him, can you?
@mrdenny - Ah, I see Fusion listed now. But even version 6.5 settings format lists Fusion as compatible.
@mrdenny - sweet. What does "correct settings" mean though?
@RickStrahl -charting? reporting? Not uncommon, non-admin uses of server-side image manipulation
When tdding wpf viewmodels, do people unit test INPC goop (that event was fired)?
Thank goodness, the Google Search iPhone app finally fixed the stupidity launching a separate browser window. http://googlemobile.blogspot.com/2009...
@lazycoder @jglozano - don't make me break out tabs vs spaces on you
@jglozano - the other one. :) Does it have a name? Braces on their own lines.
@jglozano - K&R bracing? blech
@jglozano - symmetry, man. K&R is so - asymmetrical. Offends my artistic sensibilities. ;)
@jbogard - auto-implementing INotifyPropertyChanged? As part of AutoMapper?
Hey, Better Off Ted is back!
Sometimes what I really want is for "foreach" to maintain an implicit iteration index that I can just use when I need it.
Wrote some dull model-to-viewmodel Silverlight mapping code today. Does AutoMapper support Silverlight yet?
@codinghorror - bah. what does he know
@jwynia - hey, it's all graded on a curve. iPhone is a solid A- in my book, but AT&T drags down its average.
@jeffhandley - because that's a hack? ;)
@missionpk - I'm more worried about the ongoing service than the sale. Don't want to have to go crazy distances to get an oil change.
We need more votes for the Silverlight "Select and copy text from Textblocks" feature request. Go vote! http://silverlight.uservoice.com/pages...
@jongalloway - but the reality is despite the moaning people keep their iPhones, because the alternatives mostly suck.
Bloody hell, there doesn't seem to be a Toyota dealership within 30 miles that doesn't have horrid reviews.
@jeffhandley @jongalloway used that approach on WPF, and...well, you can see how much hair he has left afterwards
