@pbrooks That's a cool bike. Unfortunately, it wouldn't get me to work on a full charge. 42 mile limit. :(
@ChrisLove Eco-religion is all money and politics. Birds in that ecosystem always come home to roost.
@vcsjones I hope so b/c I love coding in .NET but MS needs to get a mobile clue. One platform, one store, open to all developers.
Bummed I had to get my son an iPod Touch for Christmas. So wanted him to have the Zune HD but MS is never going to understand.
@dpbullington Back when Eddie Murphy was funny, too.
Dump run, check. Kitchen clean, check. Honey-do list finished. Now to work on tutorial videos.
@regeiger The new 3D games for Zune HD are pretty cool but without an open marketplace for developers, the device is doomed to failure.
@ShawnWildermuth How's the battery life on the Envy 15?
Two app stores: 1 Zune & 1 WinMo? Closed developer program? No e-mail client on the Zune? Really, Microsoft? Really?
@kflanagan I thought liberal meant liberty. Don't you believe in free speech?
@Darcy_Lussier Sorry, but when you mention the #alouettes, all I think of is that kids song *aboot* plucking feathers from a skylark. :)
Got a Dell Mini 10v? You can run Chrome OS now with good device support. http://en.community.dell.com/blogs...
@averyj Would you ever move to Amazon RDS as an option? MySql in the cloud.
I want to be the Acme Corporation to a roadrunner-obsessed world of coyotes.
@codinghorror What? No SQL Azure?
Watching my girls laugh as they watch a movie they really love. They are all so beautiful. I am reminded of how blessed I am. I am thankful.
My 16-yo son is eating Thanksgiving dinner again. He calls it Thunksgiving.
@vcsjones I've used Pex successfully on a couple of projects but it was painful. I'm ready for it to be complete and ready to use. When?
@vcsjones Pex has a lot of promise but it's clearly not ready for prime time.
The stuffing that my wife and son just prepared has apples, bacon, onions and cornbread in it. Happy Thanksgiving, indeed!
Looks like a great new book on public speaking. http://online.wsj.com/article... Added to my wish list. :)
@cwoodruff How would an upstream router know that you are NATting? You are NATting to your VM, right?
@jrl7 In my opinion, closing a faulted WCF channel should not throw an exception. Short of that, catching it in Dispose would helpful.
Harrisonburg, VA ranked as 9th safest metro area in US for 2008. Congratulations! http://os.cqpress.com/citycri...
@busse The word passion comes from an Ancient Greek word meaning "vital organs". If you don't feel it there, it ain't a passion. :)
@MarkLeonWatson Agreed. But marketing (the art of persuading to an untrusted brand) is wholly different from loyalty based on experience.
@CParizman Click the New Twitter Column button. It your column is listed, click it. If not, you'll have to reconstruct it.
@DerikWhittaker And that close (when you find it) faults again when run on a previously faulted WCF channel. Never agreed with that.
@SteveAndrews @devhammer said the same thing. As a father of 5, any analogy that includes Chuck E. Cheese frightens me.
@jezell Exactly! How many apps have wrecked by the decision to throw an exception during Close on a faulted channel? And not testing for it.
