Just had a vision of a society where everyone had mecha suits. Over time they optimized for travel on wheels, and they built roads for them.

Do we fight each other in these mecha suits too? - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo
The suits don't fly? What's the point then? =p - ronin
Stephen, hell no! We're mostly a peaceful people, and we like our mecha suits looking nice so we wouldn't hit them into other mecha suits. People save up for tough mecha suits that can do things like scale mountains with ease, imagining trips away every weekend, but in the end they usually just use them for getting to and from work and going to the grocery store. - Kevin Fox
I had the worst morning: It took me over 90 minutes to get my kids up and into their mecha suits, and then when we were going over that upramp near the fusion factory, my daughter let go of my hand at the *exact* wrong moment and ended up skyborne for at least 30 clicks. And of course my son's mecha suit picks that same time to go into maintenance mode over a blown actuator that he didn't tell me about (he didn't hit repair after his rally game last night). So I had to insta-upgrade mine to be able to carry him in his suit while zooming full throttle, all the time frantically calling out to my daughter on the IC that everything was going to be okay and that she needed to anchor asap so that I could catch up. Which she did, finally, somewhere over Los Gatos. And when I finally got everything sorted out and both their suits working again and back into the skylane, of course there was congestion around Moffett so we were 45 minutes late. I swear, bicycles would be easier. Sometimes I miss the minivan. - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo
I am now imagining a world where the Clean Air Act never passed, and where going outside without your suit for more than a few minutes would result in instant sunburn and acid burns. - Victor Ganata
