No shocker here. IT managers are putting the breaks on innovation by sinking $ into legacy systems instead of embracing new approaches like SaaS. Every $ you plunk down for an email server is a $ out of your paycheck. - Kevin Gough

nah, while salary survey hold true for vast of the americans/tech but for major players in tech industry the numbers are out of wack.. better server contributes to happy users / expending diversify markets /attract investor n partnership/ up advertising revenues.. seems to me no matter how u slice it $$ payck still looks very pretty for google management team :) - Annie Bai
