Old school telephone call to the family, all together on speakerphone on their end, while they enjoyed genuine home made hand-cranked ice cream with their not-sore arms. Now, off to the beach where I hope it clears up like it did last nite so we can catch some fireworks from the sand. Always awesome, like a theater of fireworks over the ocean.
Listening to Brubeck's "Jazz Impressions of Japan"...off-the-wall ponderance: would it be considered "rascist" by today's, um, "standards"?
Don't get me wrong, here: I seriously <333 Brubeck. Many of the melodies use a stereotypic "traditional" Japanese (pentonic?) scale &/or style, but are not Japanese. In today's sensitive climate, does it seem like "culture theft" or some other nonsense?

Hmm. So, when I "like" something on Boxee (and set it to send updates to FF), it makes up a last.fm "similar artists" search URL as the link to the song? Cool idea, I guess, except it didn't work in this case. Still doing some fine-tuning on the music side, I reckon. :-)

I find it crashes a lot, but then I do have 8 columns running. I find Tweetie is best for a quick check of Twitter while on the go. Tweetdeck is better for long bus rides or when my girlfriend's hogging my laptop.
