Community-based solutions FTW!! Altho I never witnessed a barn raising (or razing), but I did get to see my grandmother's neighbors from surrounding farms come together at harvest-time to help bring in that years' crops, shock the corn stalks, put up hay bales, etc. For the longest time, I just thought that's how people did things: they helped each other because it was neighborly, and just seemed the natural thing to do. - ɐ ɯıʞ sıɹɥɔ
