returning to tweets after an extended but enterprisng break - now have a lolly shop to add to the business mix!
Kim is very glad to have Hannah and Krystle to help out in the Lolly Shop........especially when one of them works just before stocktake!
Kim likes the first full frost of the year - doesn't like having to go out and pick jonquils while its still around....
Kim is making sure Jamie knows how wet and cold it is whilst he decides which beach to swim at today!
Jamie has arrived in Rhodes where there is a medieval festival on at present ..........he's planning to stay for a bit longer, hoping for a feast I think!
Panic over - Jamie has used his Dale Carnegie skills to charm the airline staff so departure is Wednesday....:-).
What's that feeling called when you casually look at the air ticket to Europe and it's for tomorrow not Wednesday???

Final day of competition - finished with a second and two highly commendeds....now for some sleep and then I WILL put up the pics!
Expecting to spend at least 3 hours constructing bagpipes from flowers for Tuesday's competition......at least I have a chanter to incorporate!
Day 3 of Easter Show competition - hit the big time today with a 1st Place for a 1m square freestanding arrangement on a mesh frame viewed from both sides, judged front and back titled A Sunburnt Country:Swim Between the Flags.
Day 2 of competition results from Sydney - 1 second and 1 third. Very happy as this is the first time I have managed any sort of result on "roses only" day :-).
Day 1 of Easter Show competition - so far a Highly Commended for one of my arrangements, still judging the dahlias.....
Newcastle Show results - two 1sts and three 2nds; good going since I changed the designs while putting them together last night. Pics up on Monday.

Kim had a great day yesterday - brunch at Norah Head lighthouse followed by a day of catching up with various Sydney based bodies. Now its heads down for Newcastle Show this week (8 entries) and then Sydney (47 entries) for 2 weeks.
Looking forward to a full day of Show entry preparation tomorrow, hoping for inspiration- 47 classes of entry will tax my originality!
Looks like I'll have to interrupt sailing in Croatia to do the grandma thing in France while LeMans in on........ yep, Daniel won another trip!
Kim is wondering where the week went and worrying about how quickly it will be Newcastle and Sydney show time.....definitely not ready yet!
Off to visit my latest grandson, Jack, born last Friday (conveniently just before we started sailing!)
Suffering the occupational hazard (multiple green ant bites) of trying to get ahead of flower orders for Valentine's Day.......alcohol might help!
Taking a break from the "not often enough" cleanup of the IT storage room - Jamie has a veritable museum of computers and bits......
Kim has survived another 3 days of the Morisset - Lake Macquarie Ag Show - even managed to get the paperwork right during the pony judging!
Challenging 6 hours of sailing yesterday - if only the prize had been red wine instead of white........
Kim has finally decided to treat the bull ant bite......it's only been a week, after all. Have to be able to get the sailing shoes on this week!
Sorry Hannah, Xander, Jamie....... I find nothing rewarding in spending a morning on graphic design using Illustrator :-(.
Kim is back from the wilds of Kioloa - the first time the car hasn't attracted kangaroo damage in years..........must be time to trade it in!
