"I wanted to create this list, because there are times when I struggle choosing my design colors - for me it’s not always easy task to just play with the colors and choose the right ones - of course, there are few favorite colors for everybody, but finding new great color combinations are not so easy task. That’s why there a lot of helpful resources to ease this task, and I am here to show You those!
Hopefully this will help You to create new designs and the process will become a little easier." - Michael Fidler

"Spokeo has revamped, making itself a premium play, and has flipped the data on its head, being less about tracking friends, and instead, tailoring it toward HR professionals who want to do some detective work on potential hires. (See: www.spokeo.com/hr)
This new model actually falls further into what people often called "Spook-eo", as the service can dredge up items you might have thought had been long since tucked away in the Web's archives." - Paul Buchheit
What's the difference between the "free" and "premium" results? It looks like they arbitrarily put people in one group or the other (April is free, Ana is premium). - Paul Buchheit
@Paul, my guess is that it is arbitrary. April's not tagged any differently than is Ana. It was the first time I'd logged in in some time, so it retrieved my user data, picked a few that I was "allowed" to see for free, and hid the rest. - Louis Gray
Seems like they had a narrow opinion of what Web 2.0 is, hmm? - Sarah Perez
Spokeo puts out another narrow view of Web 2.0... - Hutch Carpenter
Their measure of Web 2.0 = Free + Ads. That seems narrow to me. - Louis Gray
@louis, I liked your article on microblogging. I enjoyed it--lots of good points. - Terence Washington
I thought it was interesting when I tried it a few months ago but this doesn't appeal at all now. :-( Good, one less service to worry about. :-) - Kol Tregaskes
I could have sworn that Spokeo changed their name somewhere in there, didn't they? I never could get anywhere with that thing. - deusdiabolus
I'd like to see some studies of "non-early adopters". I'm always being told that "most people" - whoever they are - don't do this, don't do that, don't click "More", don't explore links, stick with what they know, haven't heard of (insert web2.0 service here). Like many people, I feel that it's true but without any evidence except my own experience. - Neil Saunders
Neil, Social Median wouldn't be in the position to do that, but you're right, more mainstream knowledge is needed. Strands has some interesting plans for Operation Mainstream, and we'll be watching that close. - Louis Gray
“I just saw this on Twitter: "Romney won't be selected mainly because of the mormon thing." - What type of a statement is that??? So I'll never be able to become President because I'm Mormon? That's so ridiculous!”
No, you'll never be president because Identi.ca isn't a good tool for campaign organization, ;-) - Andrew Feinberg
Andrew, I'm on FriendFeed more than I am Identi.ca - Jesse Stay

darn i was hoping they would select him becuase i knew the conservative christians would not vote for him - Ruth Ferguson
Mormons, welcome to the dark side, the land of the disenfranchised, inhabited by the "too few" and well off the mainstream. Mormons could almost "pass" as politically safe if they weren't so obvious. Sucks to be us. - Jack Carlson
I read somewhere that Mormons controlled all the multinationals and banks and made all kinds of movies...oh,..uh...that was a different group? TURF WAR!!!! (kidding, kidding) - Andrew Feinberg
“Within the settings --> Subscriptions page (http://beta.friendfeed.com/set...), there is no way to remove someone from a list/feed. I'd like to be able to select multiple users and remove them from a my Home Feed, or the Favorites Group.”
Caroline, NO idea LOL Print it out and bring it to your local nail salon? haha - Mona N.
hey if any1 finds out where I can get them.. shot my an email pls !! - Peter Dawson
You could get a ton of places to print them as a decal or, you could get a nail tech who specializes in nail art to do it for you. By the way Mona..this site is cool. I added it to my Greader :D - Candace Holly
Caroline in photoshop it would be the inverse filter I think :) - Fred Grott
Goths would love it, everyone else wouldn't even notice unless they themselves were geeks. However, Better than the ghetto hundred dollar polish by far. - Gina K
Blast from the past... Veronica Belmont favorited these June 3 before you joined FriendFeed http://friendfeed.com/e/cb4e5d... But they aren't Vedia's pic [Flickr, 7/1/05]. Here's the biggest photo I found (500x348) http://de.fishki.net/pics2/bin... Funny, I bookmarked them on Del.icio.us because I hadn't joined Flickr back then. Mona posts and gets 63 likes. Veronica posts and gets 6 likes. It's certainly livelier on FF now. Go Mona... - Mitchell Tsai
Mitchell - A,B,C or D-list. FF IS the great equalizer. (Something we've needed for a very long time) Amazing find! - Charlie Anzman
What I find uncanny is that few of these pro-bloggers with their 7-digit incomes has ever posted anything that I personally find interesting. Obviously, it's a subjective view, but maybe such blogs appeal more to pro-bloggers themselves? - Slippy Lane
Novel idea. I think it all caters to what you are looking for. If you want a NewTech view read Robert Scoble or Tech Crunch. I think Chris Brogan and Louis Gray do an excellent job of combining the personal with the technical. - Kyle Lacy
Kyle, I was about to chime in with support for the post, but then I read your comment here. If you think newtech is best served by Scoble + TC, you're really not getting it. - Duncan Riley
Duncan: NewTech isn't served only by Scoble and TechCrunch that is just who I follow most of the time. Sorry I didn't preface that. There are 100 of sites that are awesome for new technology information! Sorry about that. - Kyle Lacy
Also, I was trying to make the connection with a personal life touch to a tech blog. Tech Crunch is strictly about technology. Louis Gray adds a little life flavor in the mix. - Kyle Lacy
I love Gary and he does email EVERYONE. I got one from him today. - Kyle Lacy
I emailed Gary a few months ago when he first blew up. It took a while for him to get back to me, but he did eventually email me back. Very cool. - Phil Glockner
@slippy lane, congrats on a wise statement up at the top - Gregory Lent
Thanks Gregory, but it wasn't meant to be taken quite so seriously, and was more of a personal point-of-view :-). Kyle makes an excellent point about Gary Vaynerchek, who I had not previously encountered. - Slippy Lane
And in defense of Kyle's response to my first comment - It speaks in names I recognise, so I get the implied generalisation. - Slippy Lane
Slippy, HOW did you miss Gary V? He's EVERYWHERE. And what Duncan said... Tech Crunch is bland, pablum tech set to pimp the favorites. It's what's popular, but not what's new or edgy or even thoughtful analysis. - Cyndy
techcrunch came out of the zeitgeist of 2005, somebody will start something in 2008 out of the energy of this time, and it will fly .. for sure trying to do what techcrunch did will be dated, and not successful - Gregory Lent
@kylelacy, great post, I love brief and to the point articles. Also Allen does that, if its your first time then just wait he will do it. That is his version of a FB poke. Duncan follows everyone that follows him if you think he is coming back, good luck :) Again great post and thanks for the pointer I will check him out. - Roger Kondrat
Cyndy, you'd be surprised at just how much I do manage to miss on the infopipes. Oddly, it's not even as if I have a real life I can use as an excuse! - Slippy Lane
