A real odd piece of my early teen days came back to life with a video from 1978 that just got posted on YouTube. My dad used to drag me into clubs where I was 20 years younger than everyone else. I am usually the only person of my generation with any memories of those places and events. I used to have a neat double life. I hung out with my friends from school in the afternoons and then there was this entire scene that I became friends with as well...even though I could hardly look across the bar in that place ;) I didn't know that footage from the Jam Pott in Darmstadt even existed but it feels like a perfect journey through a time tunnel. Unreal. In case you wonder, the guy playing guitar at the very end of the video is of course my dad. Fortunately I am not in there :) If you have any 70's ugly hair phobia I strongly recommend not looking at this video.
