Do anybody no why dodos insist on shooting fireworks over the dusty dry and highly flammable grass that we have all around here in Indiana's near drought conditions?
Do they just live in a bubble where water is infinite for grass watering and grass never burns? Lots of adult babies around here that just have no awareness of their surroundings whatsoever. I wonder how they can function. They have to be told everything when some things ought to be kind of FUCKING OBVIOUS. We haven't had real rain around here in weeks. The grass is dusty dry and brown. The ponds are nearly evaporated. - Kamilah Reed (K. Gill)
According to City Code 6-158 does not permit fireworks in city limits, except for on certain days. The days permitted are June 29th through July 7th. http://currentincarmel.com/the-law... - Harold
We have a personal fireworks ban right now b/c of the drought, but normally people can set them off any time as long as it is before either 11pm or midnight (I forget which). Still, it is scary dry here right now. I'm wondering if municipal fireworks shows will be canceled if we don't have rain before the 4th. - Katy S
Same reason people set them off all the time in Wyoming, where it rains 10" a year. - laura x from BuddyFeed
Same reason Colorado target shooters keep on shooting at and around rocks, even though their fun might burn down a bunch of houses. Because, y'know, IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ME. - Walt Crawford
