I tend to not think about Xmas much until after my Birthday (4th Nov.) so as that is passed I getting my Xmas lists sorted and already have several things to buy my Mum. But I'm not really in a rush to buy them as there is still plenty of time to go. - Kol Tregaskes

I've picked up a couple things that came on sale when I knew they were what I already wanted to get for folks. I haven't done much shopping specifically *for* Christmas yet, but I should. I'm having an operation on 12/3, and will be mostly out of commission for two weeks afterward. That will put a bit of a crimp into my preparations, I think. - Ladybug Heather

That reminds me, anyone not celebrating Christmas? My aunt and uncle are Jehovah's Witnesses so they do not. I follow no religion but celebrate this religious holiday. I see it as a good excuse to share presents and see family and friends you don't see during the rest of the year. - Kol Tregaskes

i celebrate christmas in the same way you do kol. it's an excuse for me to get and give and hang with the people i love. i did some souvenir shopping in morocco, so i have gifts for my parents. i'm also making stuff for friends. i don't really care about getting stuff. i mean, it's nice and all, but not necessary - tiffany
