Interesting, but I would not read too much into this chart. For one thing this refers to market cap which is not always the most accurate measure of things. All it says is that more people are investing money outside US than before which says more about the world economies progressing rather than the US economy regressing. What would be interesting is a similar comparison of say per capita GDP adjusted for inflation for US vs. rest of the world. - Niranjan Tulpule
