Today I bought my first DSLR, the Canon T1i. Amazon has it for $793 with 2 lenses! (18-55 & 55-250) http://www.fatwallet.com/forums... @Fatwallet info
I'm so excited Johnny...but I'm a photography newb...I really need to learn what the hell I'm doing now that I have a nice camera. - Mark Krynsky
I am excited for you... I guess the best advice I have is rock a lowest f stop possible (1.8 - 2.8) on aperature mode and fire away :) - Johnny Worthington from iPhone
As Johnny is inferring, pick up the cheap 50mm f/1.8 as well when you can. - ronin
PHOTOWALK! - Derrick
I've seriously had my eye on that camera. Congrats! - ha3rvey (Ho)^3
Good luck. I learned while out in Rocky Mountain National Park. I still think I took some of my best pictures as I was learning. Agree with the 50mm f/1.8 or lower. I bought a $100 version and it's still a go to lens, esp in low light situations a point-and-shoot would die trying to take. - Eric @ CSTechcast.com
Thanks for all the comments everyone and Derrick I'm really looking forward to my first photowalk. Keep me posted with info. - Mark Krynsky
