"Good post Louis and even though I was clearly disappointed with regards to advancements in Lifestreaming this year I'm not willing to give up on the concept and the ability for someone to find a way to effectively execute it. As I wrote I find this already happening on Twitter with the advent of many third party services offering the ability to send tweets based on actions performed within their service. I think the big players understand the value of aggregation as it keeps people on their respective services longer and they will continue to find ways to achieve this albeit in a much simpler fashion. Eventually Lifestreaming will be ubiquitous across major services but I still think there is a market for smaller sites to offer higher levels of features and functionality. "The Storytlr story (pardon the pun) was actually one of the services I was referring to in my post. It's just one of several open source Lifestreaming apps out there that I'd love to see flourish with new development. I hope to see this next year." - Mark Krynsky

"Yes I am familiar with Tarpipe and Pixelpipe and although they do offer more flexibility the trade-off is a much more difficult interface. It's very easy for newbies to setup Posterous to route their content. Unless you're a bit more tech savvy you won't easily be able to setup Tarpipe. Like I said, this process needs to get easier for larger adoption." - Mark Krynsky
