the difficulty I'm having finding ANY work is making the task of finding a fulfilling, challenging, or just incrementally better position seem too far off to be worth pursuing.

thinking about dropping twhirl and just using jabber notifications from friendfeed...my problem remains catching up with posted items when i'm away from the computer, or do not have a IM account signed in.
Yeah, those are good mobile web interfaces, but the real win of IM for me is the real-time/notification aspect. I haven't considered how I might overload GMail's history to manage unprocessed items, but I may look in to that.

some of my new media queues are backed up, but I find it almost unbearable to listen to anything pre-election...
Over the weekend we watched our last shows on the DVR that still had campaign ads in them. I couldn't get to the skip button fast enough.
