Why am I Neglecting FriendFeed? The Rebirth. - http://kylelacy.com/why-am-...
There really should be a FF newbie guide with the first chapter being all about "You're not going to be a content creator when you join. Just hang out, follow people, and like/comment as appropriate". FF is definitely a two way street and those who aren't interacting with other people's content aren't going to see the benefits. - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)

Good post Kyle. I love FriendFeed epiphany's, I have had a few myself. Thanks for the mention as well :) - Mike Fruchter
Oh, and good morning. - Mike Fruchter
Hey, thanks for the mention! FriendFeed is a great collaborative tool. - Mark Trapp
Great article, Kyle. This is the first place I've been pretty active. The mix of people and personalities here is what makes it special for me. My feed streams in tech news, current affairs, music, movies, books, and quirkiness. My perfect cup of tea. - Yolanda
Thanks Mike.. and Goodmorning! Yolanda.. That is the beauty of all of it. I love it. - Kyle Lacy

Thanks for the mention :) (and good post too) - Justin Korn
I enjoyed the post and your enthusiasm for FriendFeed, but I have to challenge one comment. “I started learning things and “meeting” people that were changing my perspective on everything from politics to art, technology to web application.” While I think Friendfeed has the capacity to be a discussion platform on anything; art, theater, books, politics or philosophy, the composition of the members clearly keeps the conversations fairly limited in scope. Maybe the folks at FriendFeed need to consider how to diversify their user community, along with improving their technology. - Lorraine Ball
Lorraine - I think the community has expanded well beyond Technology and I think it is just a matter of who you follow and what your interest are. - Justin Korn
Justin, then I will have to keep looking.. any suggestions? - Lorraine Ball
Friendfeed is an AWESOME place. I started a few weeks ago and I was so sad when no one would talk to me, but now I know all the cool kids. LOL. I actually participate here more than any other place and I truly enjoy it. Like anything else you get out of it what you put into it. - Jonathan.Rivera
Lorraine, what are you looking for? Perhaps someone can point you in a good direction. - FFing Enigma (aka Tina)
One of the many things I really like about friendfeed is that it doesn't care if I neglect it. It doesn't even tell me how much stuff I've missed. - Slippy "Threadsbane" Lane
Lorraine - Unfortunately, I'm a techie and photographer. So most of my "leaders" are heavy in those fields. Mona N. brings new, crazy, off the wall stuff to everyones' feeds if you aren't already following her and you might see some new things through her friends (via Friends of Friends). Do some searches for what you are looking for and you might find some like minded people. You can also try searching for a Room (http://ffrd.appspot.com/) to find new people to follow. Sorry I can't help more. - Justin Korn
