Friendfeed, Popego, Swurl et al show a concept, like the early search engines and directories. Scoble has issues that will be addressed in the near future. For me the new concept is like the DJ or VJ in music and videos: an IJ (Information Mixer, performer, etc). In the very near future we'll follow IJs (robots, humans beings, teams) plus bloggers plus mainstream media, Techmeme is just one instance of the possible IJs. The technology already exists to achieve this vision, but we need better interfaces, filters, etc to handle the flow of information. - Sebastian Wain
