I can't say I thought it was that useful since I neglected to go back. I'm going to give it another go and make sure.

@kyce. Was going through your blog today and thought you might want to try Yokway, since your blog is about social media :) We're still in private beta but lfeel free to check it out.and send us your feedback if you have a chance.

@louis: thanks for clarifying my identity :) What would we all do without you Louis?

It seems pretty cool, but not for me. I have FriendFeed and now Rejaw. Yokway seems to offer a similar experience, except I could categorize my items and have them rated like DIgg, but I don't see how either of those features will add value for me, personally. Just my 2 cents.

Yokway is about intentional knowledge exchange within your trusted network. It intends to help users find and share information based on their interests, geographical location and relationships. On Yokway, the discussions are more a mean than an end, and the ultimate goal is the learning process and richness of the resulting (trusted) knowledge base that you build along the way.

I guess I don't understand how it's any more "intentional" or "trusted" than anything else.

Clearly, your activity across the web does not always convey the intention of sharing something. Social aggregators are a phenomenal tool for drawing attention, but when you know what a friend of yours like and share something with him/her, your intention carries a stronger weight and the value of the exchange is more beneficial to both parties as a result.
