@MisterBinky I HAVE FIREFOX! The IE8 update was part of Windows Update so I figured "Sure, why not?" THIS IS WHY NOT!
Recent IE8 update apparently made Windows unloadable. Fixing now with help from IT friend. Really didn't need this today. Thanks, Microsoft!
