I bought an MP3 album on Amazon to get the 20GB of cloud storage. SWEET
Wait what? You get 20gb if you buy an album? - Jason P
Yep. Buy one MP3 album, and they bump you to 20Gb for the year. PLUS any MP3s you buy from amazon don't count against your storage limits...HUGE incentive to purchase from them. - Jason Griffey
Wow. Okay, what music do I need? - Jason P
Dang. I'll be shopping later. What is the usual rate for 20gigs? - Steele Lawman
$20/year for 20GB - AJ Batac
Yeah, I'm sold. - Steele Lawman
Yes, this is so freakin awesome. Now if only it worked on my iOS devices... maybe time to switch? - jönαthaη
When Google launches something like this, it'll be $5/year for 20GB - AJ Batac
I'm betting there will be an iOS app for streaming access sooner rather than later...although, if they wanted, Amazon could make this work solely within Safari. But I don't think it will be Android only. - Jason Griffey
I'm less than impressed, actually. After all the freebies, it's *way* more expensive than Dropbox without a lot of the features of Dropbox. The only real upside is the streaming of music and that, for me, is not enough to make me wanna switch. - WebGoddess
I have no intention of giving up Dropbox, but this is going to be great when I finally get an Android in a few weeks. - Jason P
Oops - ok, it's actually not more expensive than Dropbox, I was comparing monthly and yearly prices... - WebGoddess
Dropbox has become a normal part of my document management workflow - but as a cloud-based music locker? Amazon Cloud is what I've been waiting for. - jönαthaη
Although I have serious doubts about an iOS app - this would compete directly with iTunes and whatever cloud-music locker Apple has in the works - jönαthaη
