"Thanks for the kind words. As for your question, that is by far and away the number one question I have gotten from users, and rightfully so. Rentything has a built in trust system, where users earn trust by participating on the site, filling in their profile including real name and photo, verifying their social networks and so on. I'd like to continue adding trust cues, such as integration with trustcloud and credport. All of these measures are to help users answer the question "do I trust this person enough to rent from/to?". Users are also encouraged to leave references of users they have dealt with and leave reviews of offers they have rented. These also help with the trust/reliability cues. People will be less likely to rent from/to users with a bad reputation and crappy stuff. At least, I think. Eventually, I wouldn't mind adding some insurance, but that is a long ways down the road. It took Airbnb years and a huge PR disaster before they offered their $1 million insurance..." - Martin
