Explanation: using suggestions from other Twitter peeps who submitted names, I tried to get a cross-section of people who post on a variety of topics, not just tech (there were way too many tech industry people that I would have liked to include). This list represents tech, social media, film, real estate, business, virtual worlds, politics and other areas. Would love to hear your thoughts. This was not a list of "Who has the most followers?" or "Who posts the most."

Also need to mention that corporate twitters like Dell, Whole Foods, Statesman, KXAN etc will be mentioned in their own category. This list is individuals. I should also mention that this is for a piece that runs Sunday in the Statesman.

The (admittedly few) complaints I've gotten so far is that the list is too tech/social media heavy. Other contenders included @cote, @whurley, @juliegomoll... Would love to have a good music person on the list.
